Terms of sale
These terms apply to every Milepost Maverick bought from milepostmaverick.com. The seller is Milepost Maverick LLC, PO Box 26, Lebanon, OR 97355.
1. What it is
Milepost Maverick is a reference display. It estimates your Oregon state-highway milepost from GPS and ODOT's public milepoint data. Mileposts can move, the data can be out of date, and GPS can be wrong or lose signal. Confirm your location by other means before relying on it. It isn't a navigation device or an emergency locator. It covers Oregon state highways only and shows nothing useful anywhere else; at checkout you confirm you understand this. Other states are in the works, but a purchase today buys Oregon coverage: we don't promise a date for any other state, and adding one may need a firmware update. It's an independent product, not affiliated with or endorsed by any agency.
2. Safe use
Follow the included card. Mount it clear of airbag areas and your view of the road, attach it firmly, and don't adjust it while driving. You're responsible for how and where it's mounted and used.
3. Price, payment and shipping
Prices are in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see your full card number, and Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself. Stripe emails you a receipt and an invoice. We don't collect sales tax. We ship by USPS to addresses in the United States only, for the flat shipping charge shown at checkout, usually within 5 business days of your order. Delivery times are USPS's estimates, not promises. If your package is lost in transit or arrives damaged, tell us within 14 days of the expected delivery and we'll replace the unit or refund you. For more than 5 units, contact us for a quote.
4. Limited warranty
For 1 year from delivery to the original buyer, we'll repair or replace a unit that fails because of a defect in materials or workmanship, or refund the purchase price if we can't. The warranty doesn't cover damage from accidents, misuse, modification, improper mounting or power, or water. To make a claim: email us at [email protected] with your order number and what's wrong. Once we confirm the claim, send the unit to PO Box 26, Lebanon, OR 97355; you pay to send it to us, and we pay to ship the repaired or replacement unit back to you.
5. Implied warranties
Any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the 1-year warranty period, to the extent the law allows. Some states don't allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limit may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
6. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost time, missed reports or delays, and our total liability is limited to the price you paid. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
7. Returns
You can return a unit within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price, as long as it's in like-new condition with everything that came in the box. Email us at [email protected] first, then send it to PO Box 26, Lebanon, OR 97355. You pay the return shipping, and the original shipping charge isn't refunded. We refund to your original payment method within 5 business days of receiving the unit. A unit that's defective is covered by the warranty (section 4) instead, and one lost or damaged in shipping by section 3.
