Privacy policy

Milepost Maverick LLC (PO Box 26, Lebanon, OR 97355) runs milepostmaverick.com. This page says what we collect and what we do with it. Last updated November 3, 2026.

Browsing the site

The site sets no cookies and has no analytics, tracking, accounts or forms. Fonts and the 3D model are served from the site itself, not by third parties. Our web host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs (your IP address, the pages requested, the time and your browser type). We use them only to keep the site running and secure, and Cloudflare keeps them for its standard period under its own privacy policy (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy).

Buying

Checkout happens on Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects your card details; we never see your full card number. Stripe's handling of your payment is covered by its own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy). From each order we receive your name, email address, billing and shipping address, what you ordered, and your confirmation that the product works only on Oregon state highways.

What we use it for

Shipping your order, sending your receipt and invoice, honoring the warranty, answering your questions, and reaching you if we ever need to send a safety or product notice about your unit. We keep a record of which unit number went to which buyer so a notice or fix can reach the right person.

Marketing

We don't send marketing emails. If that ever changes, we'll email only people who opt in, and every email will have an unsubscribe link.

Sharing

We share your details only with the services we use to fill your order and answer you: Stripe (payment, receipts and invoices), Pirate Ship and USPS (shipping labels and delivery), and our email provider (emails between you and us, and the order notices Stripe sends us). We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for at least seven years, because tax rules require it, and for as long as your unit is under warranty. Server logs are kept by the host for its standard period.

Your choices

Email us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We'll delete anything we aren't required to keep for tax or warranty records.
